Introduction The alpine ecosystems over 4,000 meters in Sagarmatha National Park are vital for fuelwood, grazing, water, medicinal plants, and tourism, but they have suffered substantial degradation as a result of overgrazing, fuelwood harvesting, tourism, and climate change.
